Sanctuary
Worship in either contemporary or traditional styles in Heritage UMC’s comfortable cross-shaped sanctuary. Surrounding the chancel area with its stunning Jerusalem Cross is an altar rail that is always open for prayer. Hymns, prayers, and responsive readings projected on large screens make each service easy to follow. The screens also project photos and videos that personalize each message.
You won’t miss the organ in our sanctuary — it’s front and center, as is the music in every worship service. Designed and created by architect Robert Winthrop and organ builder Edgar Glass, our contemporary-style organ sets the stage for worship. Our music ministry features the Discovery Praise Band, Sanctuary Choir, Handbell Choir, and Orchestra.
Memorial Garden
Heritage UMC’s Memorial Garden is a peaceful spot for prayer and contemplation. It invites quiet reflection beside a waterfall that cascades gently into the fishpond. Statues created by parishioner Rich Scott add to the tranquil environment with images of care and community. The garden includes a columbarium where loved ones can be laid to rest on the church grounds.
Movie Theater
What’s better than popcorn and a movie? A children’s ministry movie night at Heritage! (Adults are also allowed in this tiered-seating theatre.) There’s even a ticket window!
Disciple Center
You can get moving in the gymnasium, complete with full basketball, pickleball, and volleyball courts. The soaring ceiling with arched wooden beams offers inspiration for both body and soul. In addition to recreational space, the Disciple Center is often used as a gathering place for fellowship and/or meetings.
Fellowship Hall
Fellowship happens here! This space is perfect for all occasions, from wedding receptions to senior group meetings. A projector is available, and community groups are welcome.
